Elena Moglia is a New Jersey native and a seasoned physical therapist with 29 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. She has a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She began her career in acute care orthopedics and trauma before transitioning to outpatient orthopedics, where she has honed her skills working with a diverse range of patients and age groups. A former competitive gymnast, Elena’s early foundation in movement and discipline naturally evolved into a lifelong passion for helping others move and heal.

Elena completed an apprenticeship with the New Jersey Ballet Company, where she was a member of their junior ballet company in high school. Her deep connection to movement and dance inspired her to explore Pilates, and she became fully certified in STOTT PILATES© through the advanced level in matwork, reformer, and all studio equipment. She is also certified in Zumba, Total Barre, and TRX, and has taught these modalities for over 14 years at The Core Connection in Northborough, MA.

Her clinical interests include post-operative rehabilitation, spinal dysfunction, athletic performance, and dance medicine. Elena integrates STOTT Pilates© principles into her treatment plans to emphasize alignment, core stability, and the mind-body connection, believing that every patient can benefit from this holistic approach. She is committed to educating patients on body awareness, injury prevention, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Her additional credentials include certifications in orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and Precision Nutrition Level 1.

Elena’s clinical success is not only rooted in her technical expertise but also in her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients. Her warm and engaging personality fosters communication and connection, creating an environment where patients feel supported.

Elena looks at the person as a whole, including both physical and mental aspects, tailoring her approach based on each patient’s needs to maximize their outcome.

Outside of her clinical work, Elena enjoys spending time with her family, running, dancing, and especially cooking! Her commitment to both her patients and her own well-being makes her a trusted and valued figure in her community.
